A free community health fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at the McClain County OSU Extension Community Banquet Room, 1721 Hardcastle Blvd., in Purcell.
The goal of the event is to bring together students and community members from across the region to learn about and promote health and wellness topics such as healthy eating, physical activity, stress management, mental health awareness and overall well-being.
Current Teens Make Health Happen Club students in the area are currently creating their own booths to lead at the event, allowing them to share topics they are passionate about while building leadership and communication skills.
Local community organizations will also host tables and provide health resources, educational materials, and/or interactive activities for students.
