In October of 2025, the McClain County Sheriff's Office requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate a sexual assault.

OSBI special agents and McClain County deputies began their comprehensive investigation and determined that a minor had been sexually assaulted in March of 2024 at a residence in Purcell.

The suspect was identified as a 17-year-old male.

During the investigation, a second victim reported a separate sexual assault incident, which occurred at the same residence.

Investigators identified that suspect as 32-year-old Dillon Lindsey.

It was learned that Lindsey physically assaulted the victim multiple times between 2013 and 2014.

Investigators determined that both sexual assault incidents were reported to the suspects’ parents, identified as 57-year-old Greg Lindsey and 54-year-old Mitzi Lindsey; however, they never reported these allegations to police.

Based on the information and evidence obtained, an arrest warrant was issued by the McClain County District Court for all four individuals.

Greg and Mitzi Lindsey were both charged with failure to report to police and DHS.

The 17-year-old male was charged with rape by instrumentation and Dillon Lindsey was charged with one count of first-degree rape, two counts of lewd acts with a child under 16 and one count of sodomy with a child under 16.

On April 21 OSBI special agents arrested Greg Lindsey and the 17-year-old suspect.

The McClain County Sheriff's Office arrested Dillon Lindsey in Norman. Mitzi Lindsey turned herself into authorities.

Greg, Mitzi and Dillon were booked into the McClain County Detention Center. The 17-year-old suspect was booked into a juvenile facility in Shawnee.
