Monday night the Wayne Lady Bulldogs kicked off their fast-pitch season at Ninnekah. But, the weather had other plans.
After two innings the game was called due to inclement weather.
Holding a 10-1 lead, Wayne had scored six runs in the first inning and four more in the second on 12 hits.
Alyssa Hobson, Maddie Moreno, Cylie Jones and Taelynn Ringwald each had two hits. Natalie Knobloch, Addison Clagg, Skie Jones and Kyndall Sparks had a hit apiece.
Moreno was the RBI leader with three while Ringwald and Clagg each had two.
As of presstime, the Lady Bulldogs were still scheduled to host Fletcher on Tuesday.
