An eight man, four woman jury has found Joshua Allen Finkbeiner guilty of killing Shaliyah Toombs and her unborn child in an incident April 29, 2018.
Finkbeiner was also found guilty on the kidnapping charge against him as well.
The verdicts came down Monday afternoon.
Toombs was strangled to death.
The second phase of the trial began Wednesday in McClain County District Court before District Judge Leah Edwards.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the case.
The Finkbeiner case was one of two murder trials on the most recent docket.
The other case was resolved earlier when jurors found Azelea Senft and Zachary Tyler Musett guilty of killing Michael McGuffee in October of 2021.
They were sentenced to life without parole for the murder and were handed a 35 year sentence for first degree arson.
