Dibble Public Schools is absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news about a significant step forward in providing an exceptional educational experience for their students – the grand opening of the new Dibble Public School 5th and 6th Grade Center.
This newly renovated 5th and 6th grade center is thoughtfully located in the old high school building, a space that has been transformed to meet the unique needs of this crucial developmental stage.
The establishment of this dedicated center is not just about a new location. It’s about creating a specialized learning environment designed to bridge the transition from elementary to middle school.
Dibble’s goal is to ease the academic and social-emotional adjustments that students often experience during these pivotal years. By focusing on the unique needs of 5th and 6th graders, this center will foster a smoother transition to the more departmentalized and independent learning environment of middle school.
The first day of classes for the 2025-2026 school year is August 14.
Open House and Meet the Teacher night is August 12, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. “This will be a wonderful opportunity to explore the new facility, meet dedicated educators and get acquainted with the new learning environment,” Superintendent Dr. Chad Clanton said.
“Dibble Public School is incredibly excited about this new chapter and firmly believes that the 5th and 6th Grade Center will provide an optimal foundation for students’ continued growth and success,” he concluded.
