Funeral services for Betty Tate, 75, of Purcell were held Dec. 2, 2020 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mrs. Tate died Nov. 27, 2020.
Betty Elizabeth Short was born Dec. 2, 1944 in Rosedale, Okla., one of eight children of John Murl Short and Pauline (New) Short.
Survivors include two sons, Eldon Tate and wife, Kristi, of Purcell and Kevin Tate of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Murlene Faulkenberry and husband, Harold, of Lexington and Alice McKelvain and husband, Tom, of Lindsay; two brothers, Benny Short of Norman and Larry Short and wife, Pam, of Slaughterville; seven grandchildren and six-great grandchildren.
