Environmental Action Company was at the old Purcell Municipal Hospital early Tuesday morning starting the asbestos removal process at the facility to set up demolition.
The removal is expected to take at least two weeks before K&M Wrecking can begin the demolition process.
Purcell’s City Council and Public Works Authority held a joint meeting Monday in the downstairs community room of city hall.
