IN THE MATTER OF THE APPROVAL OF OIL AND GAS LEASES BY RESTRICTED INDIAN HEIRS OF LONIE BATTIEST, FULL BLOOD CHOCTAW INDIAN ROLL NO. M502, DECEASED.

NOTICE OF HEARING

Notice is hereby given that on the 11th day of March, 2026, the heir of Lonie Battiest, Full  Blood Choctaw Indian M502, being of the Five Civilized Tribes, filed his verified Petition herein praying for the approval of their executed Oil and Gas Lease for a term of three years and as long thereafter as oil, gas and other minerals are produced in paying quantities, upon all his right, title and interest in and to the oil, gas and other minerals and mineral rights in, to and under the following described lands, said lands being a portion of the allotment of Lonie Battiest, Full  Blood Choctaw Indian M502, deceased, to-wit: 

E SW NE SW of Section 33,

07 North, 03 West,

containing 5.00 nma acres,

more or less, all formations below the base of the Woodford formation and less and except any existing wellbores

to Reagan Smith, Inc. for a cash bonus consideration of $400.00 per acre, paid-up, which Leases provides for a 3/16th royalty for Petitioners’ interest and a three year term, and said Petition has been set for hearing on the 18th day of May, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the District Courtroom of the McClain County Courthouse, Purcell, Oklahoma, at which time and place competitive bidding will be had thereon in open court and the Oil and Gas Lease, as above described, will be approved in the above named lessee, or in the name of the person paying the highest and best cash sum therefore, plus attorney fees and court costs.
