ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Purcell/Purcell Public Works Authority (“Owner”) will receive sealed bids for I-35 & SH-74 – JP 32802(04) until 10:00 a.m., October 2, 2026, at Purcell City Hall, 230 W. Main St., Purcell, Oklahoma 73080. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.
The project consists of relocating City electric facilities to accommodate ODOT JP 32802(04), including removal and relocation of overhead electric lines, installation of underground crossings, poles, conductors, and related improvements. The project is reimbursable by ODOT and is subject to applicable Buy America requirements.
A mandatory pre-bid field meeting will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Purcell Police Department parking lot, 1515 N. Green Ave., Purcell, Oklahoma 73080.
Contract Documents prepared by CEC Corporation may be examined at Purcell City Hall. Plans and specifications may be obtained from CEC Corporation at (405) 753-4666 for $50.00 per printed set. Electronic plans and specifications are available at no cost.
Each bid must include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check equal to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Maintenance, and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price and all other documents required by the Contract Documents and applicable law.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in accordance with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act. Conditional bids will not be accepted.
