0.5” of rain falls here

The Heart of Oklahoma picked up .5” over night Monday. That coupled with the 1.7” that fell here last week gives Purcell 3.50” of rain thus far in 2023.

Following the rain came that howling Oklahoma wind sustained in the low 30 mph with gusts in the 40 mph range.

Oklahoma City has recorded 1.68” of rain this year.

Sharply colder temperatures were predicted for Wednesday and Thursday.
