Goldsby residents will be heading to the voting booth today (Thursday) and Friday.
That’s when residents will decide whether or not to form a charter for its government.
The town’s Board of Trustees voted to allow the citizens the opportunity to cast ballots on the issue.
That will result in qualified electors of their respective wards within the town to file and run for positions known as Freeholders.
The proclamation by Mayor Glenn Berglan went on to say two qualified electors from each ward prepare and propose a charter for the town.
Early voting will be held at the Goldsby Community Building from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 12 with polls open on Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the community building.
