After finishing third as a team at regionals, Washington’s girls will compete in the state cross country meet at Edmond Santa Fe Saturday.
The girls will run at 11:10 a.m. followed by the boys at 11:40 a.m.
The lone Warrior boy to qualify was Cole Beard.
The entire girls team, led by regional champion Rielyn Scheffe, qualified for state.
The state meet will be at Edmond Santa Fe, Saturday, November 2nd. Class 3A: Girls 11:10, Boys 11:40 a.m.
Other girls that qualified for state are Addie Jackson, Giselle Rodriguez, Alie Winn, Aubrey Grimes and Shiloh Phelps.
Phelps was seventh at regionals while Grimes was 12th.
