Anyone interested in serving on the Washington Board of Trustees should pick up a filing packet at the town hall or find it on the Town of Washington website.
The board will appoint a trustee to fill a vacancy to the board for the remainder of the unexpired term that runs through the spring of 2027.
Washington residents interested in being considered for appointment to the Board of Trustees may submit a printed copy of the filing packet to the town hall temporary office between August 7 through August 27 during normal business hours.
The board position opened up with the resignation of James Franklin.
