Small lot of rain

Posted

Most rain gauges in the Heart of Oklahoma got 1/2” of rain or less last Thursday but it was better than most of the unusually dry September.

Another .4” was recorded October 1 giving Purcell just under an inch for the two days.

Prior to the dab of rain September 30, the last precipitation was September 4 when 1.85” was recorded.

That compares with 8.9” of rain in September of 2020. So far this year, Oklahoma City has recorded 26.10” while our number is 35.10”.
