Rose Marie King died November 17, 2021 in Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years 11 months 23 days. Memorial Services were held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. The youngest of eight, Rose was born November 25, 1963 to A.C and Virginia Bernice (Riley) Pierce. She was raised and attended school in Purcell and Norman, graduating in 1982 from Norman High School.

Rose worked in retail sales for many years. She enjoyed collecting knick-knacks, crafting, scrap-booking, thrifting, and refurbishing items. Rose loved to give gifts, take care of animals, and was a happy cheerful person. She wanted all those around her to be happy as well. Rose loved her family and spending time with them, and often took in the neighbor kids as her own. 

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Eugene Pelletier; her father, A.C. Pierce; her brother, Jerry Box; her sisters, Linda Hitch, Gayle Ball, Vickie Box; and her first husband, Jerry King.

Survivors include her significant other, James L. Holmes; her daughter, Tara Klepper and James McCracken; her son, Randy King and wife, Cheryl; her daughter, Angela Holmes; her son, Kevin Holmes and wife, Diana; her sisters, Nancy Keith, JoAnn McCurley and Donna Box; her brother-in-law, Fred Ball; her sister-in-law, Nokie Box; and numerous other relatives and friends.
