A Mass of Christian Burial for Raymond Edward Feuerborn, 84, of Lexington will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
A Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Feuerborn passed away Wednesday January 15, 2025.
Born February 24, 1940 in Lexington, he was the only child of Clarence John “Doc” Feuerborn and Catherine Elizabeth (Cox) Feuerborn.
He was raised in Lexington and attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic School until the eighth grade. Raymond then attended Lexington Schools, graduating with the Bulldog Class of 1958.
Raymond married the love of his life, Sheila Joyce Funderburk, on May 7, 1960. Lexington was home and the place they wanted to raise their family, sons, David and Michael and daughter, Lisa Diane. Together they owned and operated the family business, Blanchard Building Center.
Raymond’s heart was always on the farm, where he looked forward to counting cattle and feeding his horses. He cherished his family, and especially watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren in their various activities and sporting events. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Joyce Feuerborn; infant daughter, Lisa Diane Feuerborn and his parents, “Doc” and Catherine Feuerborn.
Raymond is survived by his boys, David Feuerborn and wife, Jeanne, of Blanchard and Michael Feuerborn and wife, Sheila, of Lexington; five grandchildren, Shasta Smith and husband, Hunter, of Chickasha, Heath Feuerborn and wife, Sarah, of Wanette, Brandi Feuerborn of Lexington, Holly Jones and husband, Christopher, of Houston and Matthew Feuerborn and wife, Melissa, of Norman; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends.
