Funeral services for Lynna Sue Stevens Lindsey, 69, were held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the Wanette First Baptist Church. Interment followed at the Asher Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

Our beloved Lynna Sue Stevens Lindsey passed into the arms of our Lord on September 22, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Lynna was born to Loran and Vivian Stevens on October 2, 1952, in Oklahoma City.

Lynna married her devoted husband, Clyde, in 1993. It was a match truly made in heaven. Lynna and Clyde blended her three children, Michael, Sherri and Sara, and his two children, Traci and Greg, into a beautiful and loving family who all love the Lord.

She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and nurse. Lynna became a nurse and spent the majority of her career caring for the elderly. She received a plaque for Best ADON from Southern Oaks Manor in 2001.

First and foremost, Lynna was a loyal servant to God. She loved her church, First Baptist of Wanette, and loved playing the piano as well as lifting her beautiful voice in praise to God. She also loved sharing the love of Jesus with everyone. She had an unwavering faith in God which carried her through the rough days and uplifted her in the good ones. While this is the end of Lynna’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of her eternal and beautiful journey with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Lynna joins her parents, Loran and Vivian, and her sister, Lorna Joyce, in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde; her children, Michael (Charity), Sherri (Bobby), Sara (Kenny), Traci (Corey), and Greg (Mitzi); her siblings, Barbara, Stanley, Randy (Rhonda), and Anna (Tony); 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
