The Lady Bulldogs picked up their first win of the season on Monday when they beat Holdenville 12-2.
Brodie Anderson was in the circle and she kept the Lady Wolverines on their heels. She fanned 13 batters and gave up two runs on three hits.
Bats were hot for Lexington as they collected 11 hits in the win, including three from Anderson.
Chloe Becker and Mackenzie Manuel had two hits apiece. Lexie Torres, Kora Parker, Baylee Rillema and Peyton Harmon each had one.
Manuel also accounted for four of Lexington’s nine RBIs.
Jocelyn Senn stole home in the bottom of the first inning to get Lexington on the board.
They added five runs in the third – Manuel tripled to score three, Rillema singled to score one and Cote Garver lined out to score one.
Lexington added two more runs in the fourth and four in the fifth to seal the run-rule.
The Lady Bulldogs return to the diamond on Monday, August 19 when they host Crooked Oak. They will travel to Lindsay on Tuesday and then play in the Murray County Bash late next week.
