Funeral services for Lisa Hadley, 61, of Purcell were held Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at the Lexington Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

Mrs. Hadley passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Lisa Janea Wells was born August 20, 1960 in Purcell, Okla., the younger of two children born to Robert Glen Wells and Barbara June (Howerton) Kelley.  She was raised in Lexington and attended school there, graduating with the Bulldog Class of 1978.

She started working in the car business, an inherited trait she learned from her mother and stepfather, Kenneth Kelley. At the time, she was working at Al Salyer Olds/Cadillac/Nissan where she trained under her mother. She eventually moved to neighboring dealership, Schofield Hyundai, to become the office manager.

She had met a young man while working at Al Salyers. His name was Randy Hadley and he worked as the service manager there. They shared so much in common, and were quick to become friends. This eventually led to more, and on May 20, 1987, Lisa and Randy were married on the front steps of the Schofield dealership. They made their home in Purcell, where together they raised two children, Whytne and Wyatt.

On June 5, 1989, Lisa returned to work, but this time for the City of Lexington. She really blossomed in this role, and served the community in a variety of roles, and most recently as Public Works Clerk. She greatly enjoyed her work, but most importantly, appreciated the flexibility her work and work family extended her, to spend more time with her children and grandchildren.

Lisa was all about her family. She very rarely missed an activity or school function, and was their biggest fan. Lisa loved the lake and looked forward to weekend getaways there. She loved riding jet skis and off-road adventures on the side by sides. Lisa loved music, and attended many concerts and camping trips with Randy, his brother Russell and her best friend Kim Hadley. She was the biggest fan of the Foo Fighters.

Lisa cherished Randy, her children and was the proud ‘MawMaw’ of Brody, Presley and Hattie June. She loved her fur babies Jedi, Leia, Abbey, Jack, Gracie and Wister, as they were like her children. She was selfless, always thinking of others, and in spite of her struggles the last few years, Lisa remained determined and strong, and always kept a great attitude. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Wells; stepfather, Kenneth Kelley and sister, Lawana Lopez.

Lisa is survived by her husband Randy Hadley; daughter, Whytne Hallmark and husband, Kyle, of Stratford; son, Wyatt Hadley of Purcell; mother, Barbara Kelley of Lexington; brother, Kent Wells of Lexington; sisters, Marie Drivere of Norman and Tonja Veatch of Palisade, Colo.; her pride and joy, grandchildren, Brody, Presley and Hattie June and a host of other family and friends.
