Wyatt Woods and Wyatt McBride have been fishing partners for the last four years representing Lexington High School.
They are currently in first place on the Southern Trail of the Oklahoma High School program with one more tournament to go for the season.
Woods and McBride have earned a spot to compete in a four-day tournament at the high school national championship and world championship this summer.
Last week they spent three days pre-fishing before the tournament even began.
Competing against 110 teams from all over the state, they finished in third place at the Student Angler Federation State Championship turning in five fish weighing 18.15 pounds.
If you are interested in helping these anglers offset the cost of their Nationals trip, contact Lexington High School Outdoor Ed advisor, Megan Beason, at 405-808-8689.
