Lexington travels to Dickson for a 7 p.m. kickoff Friday in Carter County.
The Comets, 3-5 just like Lexington, operate out of a variety of offensive sets.
“They can be anywhere from a spread to a double tight end Wing-T formation,” Bulldogs coach Keith Bolles reports.
Defensively the Comets will line up in a 3-4.
“We want to finish the season strong,” Bolles said. “We still have a shot at making the playoffs and finishing 5-5 with games remaining with Dickson and Marietta.”
The Bulldogs took it on the chin at home last Friday when Washington rolled to a 54-0 shutout victory.
“They are big, strong, athletic and well coached,” Bolles said of coach Brad Beller’s Warriors. “They’ve got athletes all over the field.”
