Rain came in a big way to many parts of Oklahoma including right here in the Heart of Oklahoma.
The heaviest recorded was just west of Purcell and in Goldsby.
Don Hewett reported about seven inches at his house west of Purcell and Glenn Berglan reported about seven inches in Goldsby.
In Dibble, Landy Offolter poured out just over four inches. 5.65” fell in Purcell Sunday. That coupled with the 1/2” that fell on Saturday, gave Purcell a total of 6.15” for the weekend.
The Oklahoma Mesonet reported 5.22” in Washington, 4.43” in Byars and 5.74” in Norman.
Oklahoma City has recorded 18.77”. The normal year-to-date total is 23.49”.
The unofficial rainfall total for Purcell is 31.5”. There is a slight chance for additional rainfall on Thursday.
Oklahoma City’s annual precipitation is 36.52”.
