Heather Lynn Reeves died September 21, 2021 in Purcell, Oklahoma, at the age 41 years 5 months 3 days. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Online condolences may be made, and service will be live streamed at www.wadleysfuneralservice.com.

Heather was born April 18, 1980 in Bryan, Texas, to Daniel and Barbara (Simmons) Skinner. She was raised and attended school in Lexington, earning her GED in 2009.

Heather loved music and singing was her favorite thing to do. You could always find her with a song in her heart, anything from Gospel to Rap. She loved her children more than anything else. Heather was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. She was baptized into the faith by Monroe Harris in 1992.

Heather enjoyed collecting roosters, and making angels for Christmas time. She was an avid traveler, anything from road trips to cruises, there wasn’t an adventure she didn’t want to try.

Heather was preceded in death by her father, Danny Skinner in 2014; her son, Russell Willis Reeves in 2001; and her sister, Lisa Marie Sanders in 2004.

Survivors include her mother, Barbara Skinner of Wayne; the father of her children, Ron Reeves of Purcell; her boyfriend, Keith Outlaw of Purcell; her children, Waylon Reeves, Braeden Reeves, Jacob Outlaw, Elijah Outlaw, Christian Outlaw, Andrew Outlaw and Matthew Outlaw, all of Purcell; her siblings, Cher Hayles and husband, Keith, of Lexington, Billy Skinner and wife, Brandy, of Lexington, Christy Barnes and husband, Yancy, of Lexington, Daniel Skinner Jr. of Wayne, Jeramy Skinner of Wayne, David Skinner and wife, Jennifer, of Lexington, Larry Skinner of New Jersey, Jesika Skinner of Norman and Billy Skinner, Jr. of Wayne; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
