Early voting opens today

Three days of early voting will begin today (Thursday) for next week’s general election.

Early voting is at the McClain County Farm & Home Building, 1721 Hardcastle Blvd.

Hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Voters who wait for election day on Tuesday will go to their regular polling places which will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The ballot will include several state races.

Those are:

Governor – Natalie Bruno, Libertarian (L); Kevin Stitt, Republican (R); Joy Hofmeister, Democrat (D); Ervin Yen, Independent (I).

Lieutenant Governor – Chris Powell, L; Matt Pinnell, R; Melinda Alizadehfard, D.

Attorney General – Lynda Steele, L; Gentner Drummond, R.

State Treasurer – Gregory Sadler, L; Todd Russ, R; Charles De Coune, D.

State School Superintendent – Ryan Walters, R; Jena Nelson, D.

Labor Commissioner – Will Daugherty, L; Leslie Osborn, R; Jack Henderson, D

Corporation Commissioner – Kim David, R; Margaret Bowman, D; Don Underwood, I.

State Representative District 42 – Cindy Roe, R; Steve Jarman, D.

U.S. Senator (unexpired term) – Robert Murphy, L; Markwayne Mullin, R; Kendra Horn, D; Ray Woods, I.

U.S. Senator – Kenneth Blevins, L; James Lankford, R; Madison Horn, D; Michael Delaney, I.

U.S. Representative, District 4 – Tom Cole, R; Mary Brannon, D.

The following are non-partisan:

District Judge, District 21, Office 1 – Michael Tupper, incumbent; Patrick Crowe.

Associate District Judge, McClain County – William Deveraux Jr. Charles Gray, incumbent.

There will also be judicial retention voting for Districts 2, 5, 6 and 8 on the Oklahoma Supreme Court, as well as Office 1 in Districts 1, 3, 4 and 5 and Office 2 in District 3 on the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals.
