Purcell’s Board of Education approved fund-raisers and approved the resolution calling for the annual school board election in February 2025.

The filing period for seat 5, currently held by Tracy Folsom, will be December 2-4 with the primary election set for February 11.

The board approved fund-raisers for tennis, Ag boosters and the Intermediate School.

The elementary after school tutoring program was approved. The tutoring begins October 22 and runs through December 5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The program will run from January 21 through March 6 in the spring semester and is for grades K-2.

The board approved the overnight stay in Tulsa for the OKSTE conference November 6-7 and approved sending four high school STUCO officers and two sponsors to Bartlesville for the technology state convention November 2-4.
