Funeral services for Cooper Allen Dunlap will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

The service will be livestreamed on the website www.wilsonlittle.com and the Facebook page Wilson Little.

Cooper Allen Dunlap was born sleeping, at 11:22 p.m. March 6, 2022.  He weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. He had a head full of auburn brown hair, a perfect button nose like his big brother, a chin shaped like his sissy’s, and of course his daddy’s ears.

Cooper was in week 40, a week full of anticipation, excitement and some nervousness. Cooper was a perfect baby, formed in the image of God, and now rests in the loving arms of Jesus. We will cherish him forever; he will never be forgotten or replaced. He will always be mommy and daddy’s pride and joy, and a baby brother to Sterling and Colin. Psalm 139 reminds us that Cooper was formed in God’s image, in an amazing and wonderful way.

Cooper is survived by his parents, Joseph Dunlap and Lexi Gordon; his big sister, Sterling, and big brother, Colin, all of Purcell; grandparents, Robin and Joe Gordon of Stratford, Kerri Dunlap of Shawnee and Craig Dunlap of Lexington and countless other family members and close friends who are saddened they never met him.

Words cannot adequately express our heartfelt thanks, for the many ways you have loved and encouraged us. Your thoughts and prayers have sustained us, and we thank you. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.
