The Wayne Bulldogs will be in Arapaho today for the Regional tournament. They will play Barnsdall at 1:30 p.m. Also in their regional are Elmore City-Pernell and the Arapaho Indians.
The Panthers are 21-9 on the season.
“Barnsdall will be tough but it’ll be fun to see new teams. We’ve never played anyone from up that way.
“I believe they have around 10 different arms they can throw,” head coach Shane Collins said.
The Bulldogs have been maximizing their time in the cage and getting in work on the field, when they can.
“I’m proud of the team for putting in time and working. We’ve had everyone here and they are all focused on getting ready for Regionals. No one is checked out, which they could be with so much time off. It’s hard to stay focused,” Collins said.
