The third edition of Purcell’s Art Walk on Main Street is set for this Friday, August 16, from 6-9 p.m.

The evening will feature various types of art, live music and a host of vendors set up along Main Street selling jewelry, vintage clothing and more.

Last months Art Walk brought another good crowd to browse the participating vendors.

“We are extremely excited for our third Art Walk,” said Dani Howsley, one of the event’s organizers.

“The first two have been great. Seeing so many of our community members come out and support our vendors has been huge.

“It’s going to be hot and it’s the day after school starts here in Purcell, but we don’t want that to deter anyone from supporting the Art Walk,” Howsley continued.

“Changes to the  Walk will include a specified area for our food trucks and we are adding another one this month. We will also be adding tables and chairs that enable people to have an area to enjoy their food,” she concluded.
