Graveside funeral services for Alford Hyde, 74, of Purcell were held May 15, 2023 at the Washington Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mr. Hyde died May 10, 2023.
Alford Rex Hyde was born June 23, 1948 in Goldsby, Okla., the eighth of 10 children of Jessie Franklin Hyde and Bessie Alice (Madden) Hyde.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Louetta Candelaria (her children Christine Sweeney and Lawrence Candelaria); his daughters, Kimberly (Mike) Milliser of Yukon and Andrea (Jack) Vickers of Parker, Colo.; sisters, Doyce Foster of Blanchard, Roseanna (Maurice) Horn of Elk City and Mary Horn of Oklahoma City; brothers, Nathan (Joann) Hyde and Curtis (Carolyn) Hyde, both of Washington, Jerry (Linda)Hyde of Purcell and Hustle (Anna) Hyde of Blanchard; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
