The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported three people were killed in a head-on traffic accident on SH 39 west of Purcell just after 6 p.m. Thursday, December 2.
Killed in the three-vehicle accident were Kimberly Hartline, 39, of Dibble, Madysun Faber, 18, of Dibble and a 15-year-old Moore male, unnamed due to his age.
The accident was investigated by eight OHP Troopers.
The OHP report said a 2008 Ford F150, driven by Patricia McLoed, 34, of Blanchard was westbound on highway 39 attempting to pass two vehicles in a no-passing zone.
The vehicle McLoed was driving was met by the 2016 Nissan Rogue that was driven by Hartline.
Troopers said when the vehicles met they both swerved to the south side of the highway and hit head-on. The Nissan rotated around back into the roadway and struck the rear fender of a 2022 GMC Sierra driven by Keith Frazier, 34, of Purcell. He was not injured.
A two-year-old female in the Hartline vehicle was transported by Wadley’s EMS to Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City and admitted in good condition with minor injuries, the patrol reported.
Assisting the eight OHP Troopers at the scene were the McClain County Sheriff’s Department, the Purcell Police Department, the Purcell Fire Department and Wadley’s EMS.
