Purcell Dragons

The inaugural opening of the newly renovated Conger Field is exciting and something we can all be proud of. We look forward to welcoming the community on Friday, September 6th as we host the Lindsay Leopards. The information below will assist you in navigating the changes to the football complex.

PARKING: Across the street south of the field and from 3rd Street to Canadian on Van Buren parking is available. Parking on the grassy area is allowed as long as it is not muddy. Handicap parking is located on the southwest side of the stadium close to the main entrance in the marked areas. Additional visitor handicap parking is located off of Canadian street at the northeast entry. Please do not block the gates of the drive leading to the fieldhouse as this is a fire lane and you will be ticketed.

GATE: The main gate/pass gate is located on the southwest side of the stadium. Season ticket holders have a fast pass lane that they may enter on the southeast corner of the home side concession building or enter any other gate designated for tickets. There is an additional gate on the northeast side, however, parking is limited to visitor handicap and opposing team buses only. No outside food or drink will be allowed in the stadium. OSSAA Passes are accepted with proper identification. Purcell School Staff passes will be welcomed as well.

ACCESS TO FIELD: Public access to the field will be granted before the game for the Spirit Line only. Fans may follow the band onto the field. Enter through the gate located below the main concession stand. After the game, the public may enter the field through the same gate and meet with the team in the south endzone.

Please follow the direction of staff and security when entering and exiting field.

PROHIBITED ITEMS ON THE FIELD: No food, drinks, gum, or sunflower seeds will be allowed on the turf. High heeled shoes are also prohibited. Following these guidelines will allow us to keep the turf in good shape and safe for our athletes. Not abiding by these restrictions will result in loss of privilege.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Concession and restrooms will be available on the home and visitor sides. Baby changing stations are available in all restrooms. A family restroom is located on the home side. Basic first aid kits will available at both the home and visitor concession stands. An AED unit is available on site. Emergency vehicles will be on site on the southwest entry of the field.

RESERVED SEATING: Chairback seats are for those that purchased reserved seating from the Booster Club. The Student Section is clearly marked. The Band section is also clearly marked. Please refrain from sitting in these areas.

REMINDER: The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Athletic Association prohibits noise makers that make an explosive sound. Please do not bring these items to the stadium. Conger Field and the sports complex is smoke, tobacco, vape and alcohol free. No firearms or weapons are permitted.

If you have any questions, please contact Carol Testa, District Athletic Director, at 405-527-2146 Ext. 504. We look forward to seeing you Friday!
