A friend described an event that occurred in his home.

“My wife set the kitchen on fire!” he said.

He said she turned a burner on the stove on “high” and set a cast-iron skillet on it. She turned away and forgot about it and it caught fire.

It burned up her spice cabinet and he noted that cayenne pepper causes the most smoke.

He went to help and yelled to his wife, “Call 911!”

She screamed, “What’s the number?”

He repeated “911!”

Firemen to the rescue and their house was saved.
