A Communion Service for William “Warren” Ille will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell. Interment will be at the Lexington Catholic Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mr. Ille went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the age of 85.
Warren was born March 7, 1934 to John Michael and Jennie Lee (McDonald) Ille in Lexington, Okla. He graduated from Lexington High School lettering in both basketball and baseball.
Shortly after receiving his high school diploma, he enlisted in the army and served his country in the Korean War. Upon returning back to Oklahoma and to further his education, Warren attended night classes at Draughns School of Business. He retired after working 40 years for Wilson Foods. He will always be remembered for his love of sports, especially for Notre Dame Football and the Boston Red Sox Baseball teams.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents and brother Darrell Ille, all of Lexington.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy Ille and wife, Dianne, of Guthrie; daughter, Judi McDown and husband, Larry, of Oklahoma City; brother, Terry Ille and wife, Rita, of Norman; grandson, Mason McDown of Oklahoma City; step-son, Tom Howard and wife, Sheila, of Houston, Texas; step-daughter, Marcie Wolf and husband, Russ, of Moore; along with several nieces and nephews that he cherished.
A come and go visitation for Warren will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
