Wesley Bryan Henry

Wesley Bryan Henry, age 55 of Lindsay, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday evening July 9, 2019 surrounded by family. Born November 22, 1963 in Guymon, Oklahoma, he was the son of Lloyd and Darlene Henry of Lindsay, Oklahoma.

Bryan was a life-long Lindsay Leopard student, athlete, and dedicated fan. After graduating from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, with a degree in Business Finance, he worked alongside his dad for the last 32 years on the Henry Farm and Ranch.

Anyone who knew Bryan knows he loved his sports, his family, and his church. His competitiveness and statistical knowledge made even a family board game or card game ever so more enjoyable. Not only was he always involved in Ally’s Buddy Walks or Abby’s softball games, he had the memory to relive them (along with many other events and occasions) where he would share a play by play analysis years later with anyone who would listen.

Bryan’s love for his church, his church family, and “His kids” as he referred to his Sunday School Class, was a testament to his true character. He often mentioned the mission trips he attended and spoke of them as some of the greatest times of his life. Thinking of others before himself, that defines his legacy.

“Mr. Bryan” touched many, many lives and will forever be missed but never ever forgotten.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 19 years Traci Henry of Lindsay, Oklahoma; his daughters, Ally and Abby Henry; his parents, Lloyd and Darlene Henry of Lindsay; his sister, Becky Johnson and husband, Larry, of Huffman, Texas; his brother, Brent Henry and wife, Stacy, of Madill, Oklahoma, and many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charley and Jessie Henry and his maternal grandfather, W.C. Roath.

A funeral service to honor the life of Bryan was held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma. He will be laid to rest following the service at the Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma.

Services were under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
