A private family memorial service for Thelma Nadine Madden Looman was held at the home of Jessica and Kyle McGehee. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mrs. Looman passed away July 25, 2019.
Thelma was born to Walter and Faye Madden October 17, 1931 in Washington, Oklahoma, where she grew up. After marrying, she moved to Norman.
For 20 years, she was the hardest working woman on Main St. From TG&Y, to Adair’s Cafeteria, to Safeway, she managed to raise three daughters, Theda Philpot, Debbie Owen and Cindy Bodine. They gave her six wonderful grandkids and six magnificent great-grandkids.
Her favorite thing to do was to sew for the entire family, which she did until she was 84 years old. Now mother, dance across the heavens with the love of your life, Dewey Looman. Rest in Peace Thelma Loo.
Heartfelt thanks to Sunset Estates of Purcell and Valir Hospice for the love and care provided to Thelma. We are grateful.
