Rita Jane (Croslin) Croel of Lexington, OK passed away in Oklahoma City on April 29, 2019.
“A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me. Remember the best of times, the laughter, the song, the good life I lived while I was strong.”
She grew up in Washington, Okla. One of her strongest passions was nursing and she retired from the Convent at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City where she loved and cared for the retired nuns.
She loved to garden, read, cook, and watch The Thunder and OU sports. She was known by several names, Rita, Mom, Grandma, Aunt Rita and “Reter Jane,” her father’s nickname for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Robert Croslin and Nanny Estelle Croslin; daughter, Donna Moser; son, Sonny Wallace; grandson, Michael Moser; brothers, John Croslin, Chuck Croslin, Joe Croslin, Cecil Croslin and Orville Croslin; sisters, Virgie Farrow, Bess Green, Mary Blackwood and Dorothy Shobert.
She is survived by a daughter, Lori (Bruce) Wright of Norman and a son, Jerry Wayne Wallace of Oklahoma City; a brother, Clifford (Barbara) Croslin of Lexington; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Washington Cemetery, Washington, Okla. (Located off St. Hwy 74 and Eastern Ave.)
