Richard Wayne Scott, 61, of Sentinel, Oklahoma, passed away at home with his family by his side on December 9th, 2020.
He was born on August 1st, 1959 to Claude and Selma (Derryberry) Scott in Russellville, Arkansas. Richard grew up and attended Atkins School in Arkansas.
He met and married the love of his life Francis Ann Taylor on January 19, 1980 in Blanchard, Okla. Richard worked as a Combo Technician for Pioneer Telephone Company for thirty-five years. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing. Richard loved being with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Sissy of the home in Sentinel, Okla.; children, Billy Scott and wife, Miranda, of Sentinel, Okla., Trista Scott of Elk City, Okla., Myaih Scott, Angel Scott, Peyton Scott, Vernon Scott, Angelica Scott, Nathan Scott, Darren Scott and Hailey Scott, all of the home, Dathyn Scott of Clovis, NM, Kelli Turner of Sentinel, Okla., and Daron McDaugale and wife, Kaitlyn, of Rocky, Okla.; brothers, Russell Scott and wife, Sandra, of Bridge Creek, Loren Walton of Rocky, Okla., Roy Taylor and wife, Debra, of Dibble and James Taylor and wife, Lesli, of Dibble; sister, Pat Testerman and husband, Paul, of Dibble; grandchildren, Jacob Scott, Tyler Scott and Kaylin Scott all of Sentinel, Halen Twyman of Canute, Kassin Kessie and Walker McDaugale, all of Rocky; numerous honorary children; and honorary grandchildren, Alex, Kyra, Liam, Vinny, and Moxxie Walton, all of Rocky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Selma Scott and Don and Genell Taylor; son, Ricky Don Scott and nephew, David Scott.
Services were held Monday, December 14 ,2020 at the First Baptist Church in Sentinel, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Sentinel, Oklahoma.
