A single vehicle rollover wreck Friday morning in the northbound lanes of Interstate-35 killed a 62-year-old Wynnewood man.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper John Anderson identified the deceased as Steven J. Lewis.
His body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Oklahoma City.
Lewis died at the scene of severe head and internal injuries after he was partially ejected through the sunroof on his 2003 Ford F150 pickup.
The deadly wreck occurred around 8:18 a.m. south of the Goldsby exit.
Anderson reported the pickup left the right side of the highway for an unknown reason. Lewis over corrected to the left, losing control and causing the pickup to roll 2-1/2 times.
The vehicle came to rest upside down.
Assisting Anderson at the scene were Trooper Chris Hanover, the McClain County Sheriff’s Department, Oklahoma Department of Transportation and EMSSAT.
