A rash of automobile and home burglaries are keeping Purcell Police busy.

So far no arrest has been made but police do have a photo of a suspect.

Police investigated nine separate incidents May 15, most of which were automobile burglaries.

The burglaries occurred at 1231 Churchill, 1114 Ewing Street, 1234 Cambridge Circle, 1227 Cambridge Circle, 1222 Churchill, 1200 N. 9th and 708 N. 7th.

Police said $19 in cash, a Chick-fil-A gift card and possibly a pair of gloves were taken from a vehicle in the 1200 block of Churchill.

Police said the victim’s mother said the vehicle was locked but there were no signs of forced entry. A flashlight that did not belong to the son was left in the vehicle. That flashlight was confiscated by police.

The investigation is ongoing.
