Four teens, including an 18-year-old from Purcell, were injured early Sunday in a single vehicle crash in Garvin County.

Brandon Ingram was at the wheel when the 2007 Ford F150 pickup struck a fence and tree before turning onto its top.

A 16-year-old passenger from Mustang was pinned in the wreckage for about 30 minutes before being freed by Elmore City firefighters using a Hurst tool.

That youth was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in serious condition.

Ingram and two other passengers – a 15-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy from Yukon – were treated and released at Duncan Hospital.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Tommy Riddle reported the wreck on State Highway 76 occurred  at 3:21 a.m. 4-1/2 miles north of Pernell.

Riddle said the pickup was southbound when it left the highway on the right side and hit the fence and tree.

Assisting the trooper at the scene were the Pernell and Elmore City fire departments and Lindsay and Elmore City EMS.
