Protestors in Purcell Tuesday night displayed their sentiments in a very peaceful gathering, lasting around two hours.
The protest at the corner of Green Avenue and Main Street from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. was held without incident with an estimated 200 participants chanting and displaying signs.
Organizers Samantha Resendiz and Skyler Love led the rally.
The protest in Purcell came on the very day that George Floyd was laid to rest in his hometown of Houston by his mother.
