Reigning over Purcell High School’s homecoming game against Lexington on Friday evening at Conger Field will be this court. There will be magic aplenty in the air Friday on Conger Field as the Purcell High School Dragons battle the Lexington Bulldogs in a homecoming game.

The theme for the 2019 homecoming is “The Most Magical Place on Turf.”

The 7 p.m. kickoff will be preceded by a coronation of a homecoming king and queen at 6:30 p.m.

Queen candidates are seniors Anoli Billy, Hallie Eisman and Chrissy McKinney. They will be attended by Carlee Dismuke, junior; Kagan Davis, sophomore, and Katelyn Eck, freshman.

Candidates for king are seniors Nick Albright, Jeremy Cudd, Kyan Davis, Brendan Farris, Addison Love and Malachi Parrish.

Billy is vice president of the senior class, as well as FFA president. She is on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership team. She is on the National Honor Society and plays on the golf and Lady Dragons basketball teams. She is the 2019-20 Miss Indian Falls Creek, American Heart Association sweetheart and 2019 Girls State governor. 

After high school, Billy plans to enlist in Air Force ROTC and attend Oklahoma State University.

She is the daughter of Phillip and Lisa J. Billy.

Eisman has been on Student Council for four years and is a member of NHS and ROAD crew. She is on the superintendent’s honor roll and is a three-year Letter “P” Award recipient. She plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and major in chemistry.

She is the daughter of Michael and Rae Eisman.

McKinney has been a football and powerlifting manager for the past two years and a member of the state champion Dragons marching band for four years. She is also an NHS member and is on the superintendent’s honor roll. She is a three-year Letter “P” Award winner. After high school she plans on attending ECU.

She is the daughter of Scott and Candy McKinney.

Dismuke has been a Student Council officer and cheerleader for three years. She is on ROAD crew and participates in Pep Club. She is a two-time recipient of the Letter “P” Award and is on the superintendent’s honor roll. She is the daughter of Carl and Amber Dismuke.

Davis is a barrel racer and trains horses. She is a member of the Oklahoma High School Rodeo Team. She is on the principal’s honor roll and is the recipient of many academic awards, as well as rodeo awards. She is the daughter of Zack and Brandy Harris and Randy Davis.

Eck is a member of the Lady Dragons softball and basketball teams. She is freshman vice president of the Student Council and is on the superintendent’s honor roll. She is the daughter of Jeff and Kelly Eck.

Albright is a member of NHS and FCA. He is a four-year member of the Dragon football and baseball teams. He is on the principal’s honor roll. After high school he wants to attend college and earn a degree in psychology or sports medicine.

He is the son of Steve and D’Lana Albright.

Cudd is a member of NHS and is on the superintendent’s honor roll. He is a four-year member of the Dragon football and baseball teams. He is the recipient of a Letter “P” Award. Following high school, he plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and major in architectural engineering.

He is the son of Roger and Lori Cudd.

Davis has been active in football, powerlifting, track and basketball. He is a member of FFA.

He is the son of Zack and Brandy Harris and Randy Davis.

Farris is a four-year football and baseball player. He is on the NHS and is a Letter “P” Award winner. He has twice been named Player of the Week in football.  After high school, he plans on attending OU and majoring in accounting.

He is the son of Mike and Jenny Farris.

Love has played football and participated in powerlifting for four years and is a Letter “P” Award recipient. He is on the principal’s honor roll and is a member of NHS and FCA. He plans to attend college after high school.

He is the son of Jason and Elizabeth Love.

Parrish has played football and participated in powerlifting for four years. He was named Offensive Lineman of the Year. He has also been a member of the state champion marching band for four years and is a member of NHS. He plans on attending college after high school.

He is the son of John Parrish and Ricki Harmon.

Rounding out the royal court will be crown bearer Noah Simmons and flower girl Lane Montgomery. Both are 5 years old and in kindergarten.

Noah enjoys riding bikes and hunting with his dad. He plays t-ball and loves the OU Sooners and Purcell Dragons. He wants to be a firefighter. He is the son of Jake and Jordan Simmons.

Lane takes dance lessons and also enjoys riding scooters. She loves going to OU and Purcell games. She wants to be a pediatrician. Lane is the daughter of John Denny and Emily Montgomery.
