The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported investigating a fatality accident Sunday night in Wayne.
OHP Trooper Jeff Cummings said a 1989 International Truck, driven by Carry Jonathon Stratton, 32 of Maysville, was traveling southbound on SH 74 just after 9 p.m. when it ran off the roadway .03 miles south of SH 59.
The truck traveled 330 feet on the grassy shoulder before re-entering the roadway, Cummings said.
The Trooper said the vehicle overturned 1 1/2 times coming to rest on the passenger’s side of the vehicle.
Cummings said Stratton was ejected approximately 20 feet.
He was first transported to Purcell Municipal Hospital by Wadley’s EMS and then by Survival Flight to OU Medical in Oklahoma City were he was pronounced deceased.
Assisting Cummings were Troopers Micah Freeman and Lt. Clayton Frederickson.
