A Lindsay man is in the McClain County Detention Center after being charged in McClain County District Court with domestic violence.
Kenneth R. Holman, 44, is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
Prosecutors charged him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and battery by strangulation and domestic abuse/assault and battery.
According to an affidavit, Det. Lt. Chris Grace with the McClain County Sheriff’s Department was called to the home in Wayne of Holman’s wife on November 7.
The wife told Grace she and her husband got into a verbal argument that turned physical.
Holman reportedly grabbed his wife by the back of her neck and threw her to the floor.
He also allegedly struck her numerous times on the back of the head and genital area before threatening to shoot her with a .45 caliber handgun.
The victim reported that he fired a round through the floor of their upstairs bedroom.
He then reportedly threatened to shoot her with a 9 mm pistol.
Grace recovered a copper jacket of a hollow point bullet from a trash can in the entry way of the McClain County Courthouse after the victim said she disposed of it on her way into the courthouse.
