Lexington Bulldogs host homecoming Friday


The Lexington Bulldogs will host homecoming Tuesday during their game with the Vanoss Wolves. The candidates are, back row, from left, Richard Smith, Ryan Johnson, Luke Clark and Alec Bryen. The Lexington Bulldogs will host homecoming at halftime of the boys game Tuesday.

The Bulldogs will be playing the Vanoss Wolves beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The royalty for this year’s homecoming are Callie Ward, Hannah Holasek, Bethany Sullivan, Rachel Holasek, Alec Bryen, Ryan Johnson, Luke Clark and Richard Smith.

The flower girl is Skye Loux and the crown bearers are Regan and Riley Boatwright.


Ward is the daughter of Teresa and Curtis Ward. Drew Ward is her brother and her grandparents are Pat and Harold Whitaker and Helen and Charles Ward.

The senior is active in basketball, FFA, HOSA and pre-nursing.

The 13-year senior carries a 4.0 grade point average (GPA).

Hannah Holasek is the daughter of  Robert and Carla Holasek. Her siblings are Laurel, Rachel and Derek.

She is active in FCCLA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), student council, basketball, gifted and talented, Mu Alpha Theta and track.

The junior has attended Lexington Schools for 12 years and carries a 4.0 GPA.

Sullivan is the daughter of Kinney and Gena Sullivan. Her brother is Kenneth and her grandparents are Charles and Dolores Snow and Earl and Lawana Sullivan.

The sophomore’s activities include fast- and slow-pitch softball, basketball, FFA, Spanish club, JOM and active with the First Baptist Church youth group.

She has attended Lexington Schools for 11 years.

Rachel Holasek is the daughter of Robert and Carla Holasek. Her siblings are Laurel, Hannah and Derek.

The sophomore is active in FCCLA, FCA, student council, Spanish club, basketball and cross country.

She has attended Lexington Schools for 11 years and carries a 4.0 GPA.

Bryen is the son of Jeff and Shelly Bryen. He has two brothers, Broc and Cole. His grandparents are James and Karen McGregor and Leonard and Nola Bryen.

The senior is active in basketball, golf, football, FCCLA, FCA, student council and youth group.

He has attended Lexington Schools for 13 years and holds a 3.9 GPS. He is currently attending OCCC and has taken 12 credit hours.

Johnson is the son of Chris and Ruth. His siblings are Carrie and Josh.

He is active in football, basketball, golf, track, FCA and student council.

The 13-year senior is currently taking classes at Mid-America Technology Center for skilled health.

Clark is the son of Frank and Jeanice Clark. His siblings are Jarred, Kaira and Heather. His grandmother is Louise Stewart.

He is active in FCCLA, FCA where he is president, basketball, golf Most Valuable Player and student council. He also plays drums in his church.

The senior has attended Lexington Schools for four years. Prior to attending Lexington Schools, he was attending a private school.

Smith is the son of Leland and Linda Smith.

He is active in student council, FCA and basketball.

The senior has not attended Lexington Schools long.

Loux is the daughter of Jamey and Kathleen Loux. Her siblings are Rachel and Sage and her grandparents are Jim and Sherry Rolin and Shirley Loux.

The kindergartner attends First Baptist Church in Lexington and is in Mrs. Faught’s kindergarten class.

Regan Boatwright is the son of Donnie and Tracey Boatwright. His siblings are Natalie Boatwright, Coleman Ward, Chase Boatwright and his twin, Riley. His grandparents are Cindy and David Boatwright and Jim Malone and the late Sue Malone.

Riley Boatwright is the son of Donnie and Tracey Boatwright. His siblings are Natalie Boatwright, Coleman Ward, Chase Boatwright and his twin, Regan. His grandparents are Cindy and David Boatwright and Jim Malone and the late Sue Malone.

The twins have attended Lexington Elementary for two years.
